ABOUT ANNA
Ypsi Clay House is the ceramic studio of Anna Schwartz. Inspired by personified forms, blending organic shapes with human-like qualities, Anna strives to make pieces that bring a grounded sense of joy to everyday rituals. Driven by a deep belief in the transformative nature of clay and the accessibility of making art, Anna has turned Ypsi Clay House into a community clay space. A gathering place for folks to learn, play and connect to themselves and others. For the past year she’s been teaching out of her garage studio and is excited to announce that in early 2027 Ypsi Clay House will be moving to 616 West Michigan Ave! Classes, workshops, gatherings and more coming soon.
When she’s not at the wheel Anna is most likely walking her dog, Jane, or playing in the garden.
